Over the weekend of August 22-23, the Strikers traveled to Troy, Michigan to participate in the Vardar Elite Cup.  They competed in the 11v11 division for the first time with great success.  The scores were:

• vs. Force FC Black:  Win, 3-0
• vs. Novi Jaguars Green:  Win, 4-0
• vs. OP Eagles Green UA:  Win, 4-0
• Semifinals vs. Crew Jrs. Gold:  Win, 2-0
• Championship vs. Michigan Elite:  Loss, 0-1

The boys scored 13 goals and only allowed one goal all weekend.  They also gained valuable experience in the full-sided game!
