Team Ohio FC, formerly Ohio FC, was established in 1997 in Dublin, Ohio (a suburb of Columbus, Ohio) in association with the Dublin Soccer League. It is one of only forty-five Nike sponsored Super Clubs in the United States.
Team Ohio FC is one of the most successful clubs in the Midwest with 28 teams and in both of its select and travel programs. It is the only City of Dublin sanctioned club for boys in the area. Teams participate in the Mid-Ohio Select Soccer League (M.O.S.S.L.), the Buckeye Premier Youth Soccer League and the Midwest Regional League (MRL). Participation is based on the age and level of competition. Team Ohio FC is part of Ohio South and Region II for the U.S. Youth Soccer Association.
Team Ohio FC is designed and structured to meet the needs of the elite, club soccer player who aspires to play at the very highest level. It has been successful by identifying and attracting committed quality players and providing them with highly skilled and qualified coaches. This reflects the philosophy of Team Ohio - player and team development producing nationally competitive teams.
Every player in the Team Ohio program will be exposed to top coaches during their training sessions, where the main emphasis will be to develop technical skill and tactical awareness. Other coaches involved in the training will be also be highly qualified and experienced at the club and high school levels. Team Ohio FC players will also train almost year round in excellent facilities. Team Ohio will provide a great opportunity to compete and train with the best players in Ohio.
In 2007, Team Ohio FC placed an unprecedented eight teams in the State Cup semi-finals with five of those teams winning the State Cup Championships.
